Prerequisites

The following items must be completed prior to code camp attendance:

  • Familiarity with Java
  • A laptop loaded and ready to code
  • Download and install Java JDK 1.6+.?
  • Download and install Grails 1.3.7.
  • Read Chapters 1-5 of the book Grails in Action (# ISBN-10: 1933988932, # ISBN-13: 978-1933988931)
  • Watch the 90 minute YouTube presentation (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8d1hp8n1stA).
